For so many months of working and schooling, I have had my first official off day yesterday. I used to think that getting off from work is a waste of time, till I went out shopping for the half of yesterday.

It feels real good to pamper yourself once in a while, spending the money you have earned so hard on things you like to eat and wear etc. I vow, after my thailand trip next month, I will save up for another trip to Australia. I wanna visit the Great Barrier Reef, Movie world, Ayers Rock and Gold Coast. But.. who wanna go with me? I definitely ain't in the allocentric group.

I thought I was good, but it turned out to be average.

I went back to school regarding the NATAS award today, and only to find out that the 3 person, whom I supposedly thought were to get the award, were only nominees.

Out of these 3, only 1 will get the award. And it's gonna be a tough 'battle' for me as the other 1 is good! The other person is still unknown yet, so if he/she turns out to be the winner in the end, it gonna be bad for us. Cause we were the 2 to be selected first, and he/she came in last and yet win the award. Never mind about this, I am that generous to let the best man/woman win.

So, the stress just goes on and on. But I like! It's time to slim down again. I am getting fat from eating fast foods from morning till night.

I wonder if I should take this as a good or bad piece of news. My class advisor called me up today to inform me that I have gotten the NATAS award. Getting this award sure is a chance of a lifetime, and that it only goes to 3 people and I am one of the 3.

PROS:
1 - I will get a chance to work in the company
2 - Getting a job in such industry is sure to get me a satisfied pay
3 - I won't perspire and bleed while working again due to injuries and such
4 - I get to work and study at the same time

CONS:
1 - I have not enough motivation to work in such industry, an office environment
2 - I won't get to rest on weekends and have family outings
3 - I do not like 'mind' jobs, I prefer 'physical' jobs
4 - As there are high chances to get into NATAS and CHAN BROTHERS, it will surely
be a more than tough and demanding job as they are one of the biggest
organisations in the tourism industry
5 - I can't keep my hair long and dye them blonde

So.. Should I be happy or stress? It's an honour to get that award. But somehow, something is trying to pull me back. Anyway, it would be great if REESE was to see my achievement. A step closer to getting back what I have lost.

It's holidays again and I am back to my usual working lifestyle. Life is all about money to me. If given a choice of friends and money, I would choose money. Why is money that important to me?

1: Money can buy me all things, even love ( money can't buy love is only an excuse of not being able to find love)

2: One will be respected when he is rich.

3: Life won't be that stressful

4: Money can buy health ( Even the best doctor can be hired if you are damn freaky rich)

All those above mentioned ends up in a single result : A HAPPY MAN

That really explains why I am not happy, even given the number of hours I work per day, including the 5 'jobs' that I am holding currently. Ever since Harris went to court and was declared bankrupt, we had been living in a more than harsh condition. So bad that my dog had to survive on cockroaches.

I WANNA MARRY A RICH OLD LADY, WHO WILL GIVE ME HER FORTUNE AFTER SHE DIE! Anyone?

This is a bit late, but nice one there. Watch out for the screams of the fans when the result was announced. It just break my heart to watch it again.

ITE is actually not as difficult as I thought it would be. I scored another 89 and 88 marks for 2 mock exam papers, yes, without studying for it. And hey! That's another 2 As I have gotten for this certain subject. Conclusion: No stupid people die, only lazy people do.

A certain classmate of mine mentioned something which sounded extremely funny and ridiculous today.

Classmate: Teacher, do you know that bangladeshes working at Kranji war memorial earned the most money among all Bangladeshes in Singapore? They were paid by Europeans and not the government of Singapore, $8 pounds. (I wasn't sure if the $8 pounds was per day or per hour.)

Lets calculate roughly: Lets make $8 pounds = S$20

$8 pounds a day = S$20 per day ; $8 pounds per hour = S$20 times 8 standard working hours = S$160!!

Do you believe they can earn so much money per day when most Singaporeans can't? Don't sound logical do it?

I guess the term 'Bangladesh' has become construction workers for most people living in Singapore. To remind you again, it refers to nationals of Bangladesh, and they do have degree holders there as well. So Bangladeshes working in Singapore do not mean that they are construction workers, they might be working as engineers here. So highest paid bangladesh in Singapore is most likely not working in Kranji war memorial.

Anyone can correct me and prove me wrong?

*Gentle reminder, those in Kranji war memorial were working as grass cutters.
